BIOGRAPHY

Matthew Lansburgh lives in New York, where he works for The New York Public Library. His work has been published in Guernica, Hobart, Slice Magazine, The Quarterly, and Words Without Borders. He received a BA from Dartmouth, an MA from Princeton in Latin American Literature, and a JD from Stanford Law School.

His story "California" was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2009, and he has received an Honorable Mention in contests hosted by Zoetrope: All-Story and Glimmer Train. He is currently working on a book of linked stories and a novel.
